It is important that the present emphasis on disclosure does not decrease inclusiveness. With virtually no exceptions, we do not want an organization that blackballs members because of their employment. At the same time, we want transparency that is appropriate for the decisions being made. As for APA President-elect candidates, we want the voters to know of all possible conflicts or problems.
