Various Types of Pecan Pralines

This year, we are excited to offer a variety of pecan pralines! Our customers can choose from milk, dark, and white chocolate varieties. We also have a twist on the classic pecan praline- our Pecan Spice Praline is made with pumpkin puree and spices for an extra flavorful treat. Ingredients for Butter candy roasted nuts. 

-1 cup pecan halves

-1/2 cup unsalted butter, at room temperature

-1/2 cup granulated sugar

-1 teaspoon light corn syrup

-1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon

-pinch of salt

-6 tablespoons (90 grams) of all-purpose flour

-4 ounces chopped bittersweet chocolate, preferably 60% cacao or higher, or 2 tablespoons baking cocoa powder combined with 2 tablespoons butter

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. 

In a medium bowl, combine the pecans, butter, sugar, corn syrup, cinnamon, and salt. Mix well. Spread the mixture in an even layer on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 10 minutes. Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes. 

In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour and chocolate until smooth. Stir in enough additional water to make a soft dough that can be easily handled. Roll out the dough on a floured surface to 1/8 inch thickness. Cut into 3 by 3-inch strips. Place half of the strips.
